In this case, everything is managed from the web dashboard, not the app. But no worries—every year at the beginning of the fiscal period, we automatically send companies their annual tax report for the previous year.

The earnings you generate with Rand fall into two categories, depending on the account they come from:
Prize Account:
The prizes you win here are considered “Capital gains and losses not derived from transfers.” In other words, you need to declare the total amount of prizes received during the fiscal year.
Earn Account:
In this case, the earnings are considered “Investment income” and are only declared when you withdraw them. Every time you withdraw money from Earn, we automatically calculate what portion is your initial capital (non-taxable) and what portion is earnings (taxable).
So, earnings that remain in your Earn account are not taxed or declared until withdrawn.
