Over the past few months, Rand has experienced incredible growth, and it’s all thanks to you. That’s why, this September 2024, we're excited to launch one of the most significant updates to our App, featuring the new Earn account, revamped and offering even more APY.

Today, we want to explain how this update brings about a significant upgrade: the transition from our token system to a points-based system.

Why This Change?

We have been listening carefully to your feedback and analyzing how we can improve every aspect of our app. After conducting over 100 interviews with our users, we concluded that implementing a points system is the best strategy to take Rand to the next level.

It's important to emphasize that the performance of the RND token does not reflect Rand's financial health as a company. RND is a utility token, meaning its function and use are limited to the app, and it is not tied to Rand's financial condition or any speculative activity.

With our exponential growth and our consolidation as a financial leader, we’ve decided to take a step forward and evolve the token and Rand Pro into a points-based system.

This change is designed to better align with your needs, offering more bonuses and clearer value within our App.

Additionally, this new system simplifies interaction: although you won’t see RND in the app, we will use the revenue generated to buy RND tokens in the market, thereby strengthening the ecosystem's value in a transparent and direct way.

What Are Points and How Do They Work?

Points are our new way of providing you with more value and flexibility in Rand. With this system, you’ll be able to access a wide variety of benefits through our in-app store.

These benefits include keeping your APY bonus intact by reaching the maximum in your Earn account or making fee-free card deposits, among others

Options for Your Free to use RND Tokens

With the new system, the RND tokens you have in your account will no longer appear in the app. But don’t worry, because we’ve prepared three options for you within the App:

1. ‍Convert your tokens to points: Transform your tokens into points at a special rate of 1 token = 5 points. This will allow you to access all the additional benefits our platform offers.
2. Sell your tokens: You can sell your tokens directly in the app and receive euros that will be credited to your Rand current account.
3. Transfer your tokens to an exchange or an external wallet: If you prefer to manage your tokens independently, you can transfer them to an exchange like Bit2Me or BitMart.

What Do You Need to Do?

Starting in September 2024, with the new update, simply access the Rand App and select the option you prefer to manage your free tokens.

What Will Happen to Your Locked or Rand Pro Tokens?

For tokens that are locked or acquired through Rand Pro, they will be automatically converted into points at a rate of 1 token = 3 points.

This way, you’ll be able to enjoy all the advantages that points offer without the need to take any additional action.

The Evolution of Rand

This change represents another step in our mission to make finances more accessible and understandable for everyone.
